Summer Camps
School may be out for the summer, but learning is always in. Bloom Learning Centre offers several fun and exciting week long day camps to children aged 3-10 during the months of July and August.
Our camps are focused on fun learning activities that are geared towards your child’s interests and provide a flexible solution for your summer childcare needs that kids will love! Our activities will see your child having so much fun that he or she won’t even realize that he or she is learning! The camps are a great way for children to develop socialization skills and build new friendships.
Depending on your needs, you can register your child for as little as one week of summer camp or as many as eight. The core program runs from 9:00am-4:30pm.
Before and after care is also available for a small fee.
The program is taught by a certified teacher with a Professional A Teaching Certificate along with the assistance of qualified support staff and we maintain a low child/teacher ratio. You can rest assured your child will be safe and well taken care of. Activities are designed for children ages 3-10 and adapted to ensure they are engaging and developmentally appropriate.

DINO DISCOVERY
July 2nd - 5th
Unleash the prehistoric fun! Become a mini palaeontologist. Build your dinosaurs, make fossil dough, hatch baby dinos and go on our very own fossil dig!
IMAGINE & CREATE
July 8th - 12th
Where every child is an artist! Inspiring creativity, one masterpiece at a time! From painting and sculpture to mixed media, children will explore their imagination and express themselves in colorful ways.
INNOVATE & EXPLORE STEM
July 15th - 19th
Igniting curiosity, engineering bright futures and building tomorrow’s innovators. Hands-on experiments and challenges designing structures and activities, where young engineers unleash their creativity.
CHRISTMAS IN JULY
July 22nd - 26th
Bringing joy and cheer, summer’s Christmas is here! Explore holiday themed activities, crafts and games, with Christmas carols, Santa visits and plenty of seasonal cheer.
UNDER THE SEA
July 29th-August 2nd
Exploring the deep blue, where adventures await you! From marine- themed games and adventures to discovering ocean life, it's an aquatic journey full of fun and discovery for young ocean explorers. A shark day will even surprise you!
SLIME-TASTIC ADVENTURE
August 6th-9th
Get ready for gooey fun where kids delve into the world of squishy, stretchy creations through hands-on experiments and colourful concoctions. From slime-making workshops to slime-themed games,
GAME ON!
August 12th - 16th
Level up your fun this summer! This popular camp will get your little gamer away from the screen, but they will have just as much fun as they participate in crafts and activities that bring their favourite games and characters to life!
COSMIC ADVENTURES
August 19th - 23rd
Come explore the universe and discover the wonders beyond Earth! Participate in art activities and interactive games and experiments all about planets, galaxies and gravity.
Pricing
The cost per child is $275 per week. *The cost for week 1 & 5 (Dino & Under the Sea) is $220 (as it is a four day week due to the July and August holiday).
Children are required to bring a bagged lunch, two snacks, and a water bottle. Please note that Bloom is a nut free facility. Please do not send any nut products in your child’s lunch. You will also be notified of any other foods to avoid due to severe allergies in the group.
Before care runs from 7:30am – 9:00am and is an additional $25/week. After care runs from 4:30pm – 5:30pm and is an additional $20/week. You may sign up for before and after care or just one or the other depending on your needs. If you require early drop off and/or late pick up for a day or two you are required to sign up and pay for the full week of before and/or after care even if you do not use the service every day of the week as your child will be holding a spot in the program.
Supplies
Bloom provides all the necessary learning tools and supplies for your child. However, we ask that in addition to a cold bagged lunch and two snacks (nothing that has to be heated up please) you send the following with your child on each day of camp. Please remember to label all items with your child’s first and last name.
A backpack containing:
• A pair of clean indoor shoes that have not been worn outside (runners with a Velcro closure are best for young students)
• A complete change of clothes in case of a washroom accident or spill
• A paint smock or shirt
• Sunblock (min SPF 15)
• A hat (for wearing outdoors)
• Bug spray
• A water bottle

Registration opens March 8, 2024 at 9:00am. For your convenience we have online registration and you can secure your spot from the comfort of your home.

Come and Join Our New Winter Camp!
Bloom Learning Centre is excited to announce that we will now be running a winter camp during the February Break. The camp will run 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Tuesday February 20th – Friday February 23rd. There are options for additional before and after camp care. We welcome all ages 4 -10 years old with some exceptions being made for younger and older siblings. During the camp children will be engaged learning about all things winter including but not limited to winter weather, snow, animals, and more. Crafts, sensory play, creative thinking, building, exploring are just some of the things we will be doing daily.
