In Class Program (Preschool & Junior Preschool)

Bloom Learning Centre is excited to announce we are now offering “ABC Music & Me” by Kindermusik as part of our preschool programming! We are the first and only centre in Canada to incorporate this valuable program into our preschool class time.

Kindermusik, it is a world renowned company whose music and movement curriculum is based on years of research and developed by experts in music, education and child development. The ABC Music and Me curriculum has been specifically designed for preschool children and develops important pre-literacy, listening and social skills through music, story time, and movement. The skills learned through participation in Kindermusik are essential school readiness skills and provide the foundation for reading as well as building spatial-temporal and reasoning skills required for math, science, and engineering.

Your child will participate in one of two age appropriate levels; Wiggle and Grow for the junior preschool classes and Laugh and Learn for the preschool classes. We have had the opportunity to review the curriculum for each program and see the lessons in action. The learning objectives align perfectly with what we do here at Bloom. It truly is a phenomenal program and your child will have a blast and develop a lifelong love of music all while learning essential skills.

The Kindermusik sessions are half hour sessions once a week that take place during your child’s normal preschool class time and run for the entire school year. The regular fee for these Kindermusik classes would be approximately $60/month. As a benefit of being part of the Bloom family, we are excited to be able to offer them to you for a small fee, only $20/month, to help cover the cost of materials. Each month you will have access to a digital home kit with all of the songs we learn in class, an activity guide and story book, as well you will receive a musical instrument every other month. We believe you are your child’s first and most important teacher and the home kit allows you to spend quality time with your little one and reinforce the learning at home.
